Number of Limbs?

I've read through Traitor's Gambit, but saw nothing in the RPG stats or descriptions from which one could definitively claim that Felucians have more than two arms. However, the official picture seems to have a smaller arm protruding under the Felucian's upraised left arm. I understand that there are miniatures being released which feature Felucians (such as one riding a Felucian rancor); if anyone has access to these, they might be useful for determining the number of limbs a Felucian normally has. Or if someone is able to find references to extra arms in Traitor's Gambit that I missed, it seems like information that might be fitting for this entry. 99.165.111.213 20:40, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

  • Looking at the new action figure, it seems they have two arms coming from their shoulders, and these arms break off at the elbows into two arms each. The larger arm has suction cups for hands, and the smaller arm has two fingers and a thumb.InSaneWeTrust 22:33, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Yes, I have a Rancor, and I can confirm this aswell, Thr felucian definetly does have on arm that splits at the elboy, making it look like a "Y."--Thoggnee 22:19, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

History section

This section *DESPERATELY* needs a clean up. I mean, it's repetitive in some parts and doesn't give a clear explanation of what happened in others. 129.107.81.12 01:11, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Yeah, the section could be in need of some clarification. I'll get right on it possibly tomorrow, if I'm not too busy. ;) Cyfiero 09:02, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

what if

hey, can i make an article called unnamed felucian rancor rider?, i mean it has a source, an action figure and stuff, , may I? dearly : Tusken916

  • Yes if it has a source I don't see why not.Garadex 22:26, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

TCW Felucians

The Episode Guide to The Clone Wars episode Bounty Hunters refers to the short aliens as "Felucians", so I think this article should include that species as well. It seems it would be a similar case to Utapaun, where that name refers to both native species of that planet.Unsigned comment by Gry Sarth (talk • contribs)

  • It might also be posible that the guide means "People who live on Felucia" when it says Felucians, not members of that species. Gulomi Jomesh 15:14, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
    • Yes, it is possible. But that's not what the guide says. Isn't what's actually written more official than what's "possible" to be interpreted from it? How do we know that the FU "felucians" aren't also just "People who live on Felucia"? Gry Sarth 15:46, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
      • The difference is their appearance, Gry. The episode guide made a mistake. Right now, I'd say just leave the article alone until more sources clarify this. JangFett (Talk) 15:50, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
        • "The difference is their appearance"? I don't understand it. I certainly do not mean that TCW and FU felucians should be the same species. What I mean is that it seems they are both called "Felucian", being natives to that planet. Maybe in time we'll find out their "sub-name", like the Utapauns have the Utai and Pau'an. But until then, those farmers are officially Felucians as well. Gry Sarth 15:56, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
          • Gry is right. Until further clarification is presented, this situation is precisely like the Utapaun=Utai/Pau'an issue. We cannot claim the Episode Guide made a mistake. Who cares of their appearance is different? The Utai and Pau'ans also look very different from each other. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 16:05, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
            • I think the best way to do this would be to create two articles under conjectural sub-names for each species, like with the Utapauns. Talking about both species in the same article might be a bit confusing. Gry Sarth 20:22, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
              • No, we shouldn't make up conjectural names. Confusing or not, they should all be included in the Felucian article until individual sub-species names are revealed. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 20:39, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
                • What I mean by conjectural is something like "Felucian (Force Unleashed)" and "Felucian (The Clone Wars)", or "Felucian (Force-sensitive)" and "Felucian (farmers)". Gry Sarth 21:03, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
                  • If anything, it's going to have to be the latter, because the in-universe perspective requirement extends to naming as well. CC7567 (talk) 23:33, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
                    • Well, they are clearly completely different species, even though they share the same name. My understanding is that when two different items share the same name, two articles are created, using a diferentiating name under parenthesis. I intend to move the current Felucian article to Felucian (Force-sensitive) and create a new article for the new TCW species under Felucian (farmers). Anyone against this? Gry Sarth 15:53, April 8, 2010 (UTC)
                      • Go for it. Be sure to make this a disambiguation page after the move and after you've made the new farmer's page. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 16:02, April 8, 2010 (UTC)
                      • Actually, on second thought wait. I think this one should stay as is. These are more well known as Felucians, than the newly introduced farmers. I would say go ahead and make the Felucian (farmers) article. Then slap a {{Youmay}} template on both. - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 16:09, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

TFU Felucians in CW: Season 4

I'm not quite sure, but in one of the latest teasers for Clone Wars Season 4 one can clearly see some beings that look very much like Felucians from The Force Unleashed. They can be seen only for a short time, but have many similarities or it seems so.

So far there has been no confirmation, but still a possible cameo. Look here at 0:53. Neterwan 17:37, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

  • If those are Felucians, then they undergo a dramatic design change. SinisterSamurai 17:47, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

Canon Section

Shouldn't there be a Canon section to this article since Jungle Felucians are apparently mentioned somewhere in Galaxy's Edge? They're mentioned under "Native Species" in the Canon Felucia article but there's no existing link. Unsigned comment by TheStarMan9 (talk • contribs)
