- And may I just say, I have found your PDF sharing efforts incredibly useful. I hope you decide to stick around and help us flesh out some of the RPG-related topics we haven't gotten to yet. —Darth Culator (talk) 15:02, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey Gry
Don't forget to sign your comments on talk pages. Typing ~~~~ (four tildes) automatically adds it. Cheers! Gonk (Gonk!) 18:46, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Gonk, still getting the hang of this. --Gry Sarth 19:00, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
File:Thermal_Detonator.jpg
You uploaded the image Thermal Detonator.jpg, what is the source for that image? --Jedimca0 (Do or Do Not, There is No Try) 16:15, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Humm, that was a collection of images I did a while ago. The CT thermals are pictures of the replicas done by Master Replicas, I think. The PT thermal is probably from the Visual Dictionary... Gry Sarth 16:22, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Alien Stats
Maybe you already know. In version of the "alien stats" from the 2nd July 2005 where different stats for the quarren then the stats I know. Thanks, Parmenion.
Images
Please remember to use the image information template provided on the upload page. That way someone else doesn't have to come along afterward and fix it for you. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 21:30, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- As a follow-up, please try to remember that the licensing tag, ie Fairuse or TV-screenshot goes inside the template under the "licensing" spot. It does not go after the information template as you've been doing. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:43, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've just been using the drop-down menu. Isn't it supposed to be used? Gry Sarth 19:47, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- It can be used, but just remember after doing so, then move the tag generated to the template. But that adds an extra step. It's just easier to ignore the drop down menu and put the tag directly into the template as you upload it. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- One more thing: when uploading images, please also try to categorize the images as well. Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 18:06, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- But the instructions explicitely say: "Do not use these fields unless you are certain of how the image categorization system works." And well, I've been screwing up enough without directly disobeying clear instructions... Gry Sarth 18:43, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- Don't get down on yourself. You're learning, and trying to improve you editing skills, which is more than a lot of other newer users. As for the categorization, you can read all about it here. And don't be afraid to ask. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 19:00, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
- On screenshot images from TCW episodes, for the licensing tag, you want to use the following tag: TV-screenshot. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 16:29, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Good catch
Good catch on adding ROTS to the Appearances section on the Pantoran article. :) - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:17, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. I hope you don't mind the change of main image as well, just thought that a movie appearance takes precedence. Plus, it's the MAKER. Gry Sarth 14:19, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, that one I do mind. I know it's the MAKER. LOL But that Papanoida image already is used in the N. Papanoida article. And the images as depicted for Trespass are the first "official" representations of Pantorans]]. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:51, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
TCW1x16 Chopper image
Hi there ^^ I don't see the image of Chopper you've used, on the official site. Maybe it has been deleted. I'd like to have the full and unaltered version, can you send me a link, if it's possible? Thanks Kaal 23:39, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
- It`s from the episode commentary video, and there isn't really any more to it.Gry Sarth 00:01, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I see that the source info has been changed, I was wondering why they'd removed this pic. Kaal 13:14, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, ok, thx for clarifying that. I thought author = copyright holder, for legal reasons If we cannot identify the individual illustrator, do we still put West End Games? thx for all your help. Sorry for the inconvenienceJustinGann 23:49, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
- You mean where I added the nicer illustrations from Galladinium's, and you deleted the "group shot" pics from A&E Guide? I personally agree, I just usually don't feel comfortable edeleting other people's pics without talk and group consent. In at least a few occassions, I think both pics are useful. For example, with the M4-series messenger droid, I felt the A&E and GFT pics offered different angled views and gave a better idea of the overall appearance of the droidJustinGann 23:59, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
BFF
just curious, what does Imagebg=FFF do?JustinGann 03:15, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
- It sets the background behind the image to white. When your picture has a white backdrop, if you don't do this an ugly thin dark line will appear at the top of it. With this it blends seamlessly with the page background. If the picture has a color backdrop or a border this is nor necessary. Gry Sarth 10:28, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Re:Embo
It's not confirmed yet. JangFett Talk 21:47, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

- This is starting to get out of hand. I apologize for my phrasing, as that's the impression I was getting, but the fact of the matter is that you're going to have to either reason individually with every single user that disagrees with you or start a CT to change the way people do things here. If I had watched the TV coverage of ComicCon, or if others did, they might be able to verify this, but unless it's easily accessible for others, it's your word against that of others. CC7567 (talk) 22:25, September 10, 2009 (UTC)
- I am sorry if you misconstrued my statement. I said I'm inclined to agree with you, meaning that in all likelihood, this will turn out to be Embo. However, just because I agree with you doesn't not mean I consented to your position. I said go ahead and move it, but warned you that it could very likely be reverted. Right now you are the only Wookieepedian claiming that Dave Filoni confirmed this to be Embo. We cannot take the claim on one person without corroboration in the way of either a video of Dave Filoni showing an image of this alien and calling him Embo or some more Wookieepedian corroborating your claim. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:39, September 10, 2009 (UTC)

Todo 360
Just an FYI, I removed the image you added to Todo 360 because there wasn't room for it in such a short article. So the image would still be used, it moved it to the infobox for Techno-service droid. Also, on a technical note, please remember that is no longer the way to format an image in an article. The proper formatting for image files is . Thanks. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 11:52, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks for the heads-up. I was just using the automatic drop-down menu on the left. If that's not the code being used anymore, shouldn't that "Editing Tip" be changed? Gry Sarth 11:56, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
- As you could see, the code still works, but there's a bot that will come along and change it to File eventually. As to the Editing Tip, yes, it should be changed, but that's a wikia thing so not anything a Wookieepedia admin could do. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 12:12, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
Re:Embo 2
The reasoning behind "the bayonet" is purely speculation, which cannot be added in articles. Assuming that his weapon might be a bowcaster also may have to get removed until we get more information about the weapon. For full body shots in articles,—such as the concept art you added in Todo and Embo— these cannot be added in stub-like articles because it overwhelms the article and is quite redundant. Once Embo becomes a lengthy-sized article with a BtS, your concept art image could be added in. It's too bad that Embo wasn't in the Art of TCW, otherwise the discussion of his name could have been resolved months ago. JangFett Talk 22:07, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

Hey man
Gry, just so you know, if you see any new TCW information in articles please add the respective Spoiler or Spoiler tags within the article. As for uploading images, don't forget to add in categories. I.e, Images of Anakin Skywalker. I marked a few of your images as being low in quality. I don't know what image resolution you uploaded, but some appear very blurry. JangFett (Talk) 20:57, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll try to remember to add spoiler tags to articles. I usually fill out the categories, but maybe sometimes I should add some more. As for the image quality, it's weird that you find them lacking, since I'm taking these screens from HD files. They might look a bit blurry when viewed at full resolution, but they look fine in any reduced form, in my opinion. Gry Sarth 21:01, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Update template
Please don't add the TCW episode template within the Update template. If you like to add a new item within the Update template, please add links only. I.e, Zillo Beast. Thank you for your cooperation. JangFett (Talk) 15:18, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for correcting me. My mind has been focusing on that Zillo Beast episode today, as I was correcting update templates that linked to the episode. :P JangFett (Talk) 20:25, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

Where are they?
Where on the official site did you find those clone cards? I've done a search (not real fond of their search function) and can't find anything about them. - JMAS
