Could use details on his ROTJ role/death, relocation to Tatooine (we know of his authority by TPM), spice war with Moruth Doole, funding Ylesia raids of Bria THaren, funding of the TradeFed's droid army... --SparqMan 08:28, 2 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- Also needs details on his other "business" dealings as listed on pg. 59 of Galaxy Guide 11. I may have time to get around to it :) --Sionay 13:24, 19 Jan 2007 (UTC)

Wait, wait, wait. Shouldn't Jabbas image be from ROTJ? It is his most "recent" appearance...--Redemption 23:31, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Move to Tatooine
Okay, before anyone complains about my 516 BBY reasoning: The palace was built in 700 BBY. According to its article, Alkhara moved in 150 years later, in 550 BBY. According to Inside the Worlds of the Star Wars Trilogy, he remained there for 34 years until Jabba kicked him out. Thus, the 516 BBY timeframe. Cutch 23:57, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Who's richer?
It said that Jabba was the richest crime lord in the entire galaxy. Where does that put Prince Xizor?
second? 24.63.167.114 23:58, 2 May 2006 (UTC)p.h
- Huh. Interesting question. -- SFH 00:00, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
- When and where was that said? Because Jabba could've become the richest after Xizor was killed. --Jabbathehuttgartogg, 5 Aug.
- It's stated many times in Shadows of the Empire that Xizor has massive amounts of wealth, so much so that he wouldn't be able to spend it all if he tried. Guri cost something like 10 million credits; he had a map of the entire galaxy (down to the smallest detail) on his ceiling, and various other extravagencies. It doesn't seem, to me, that Jabba can match that - Kwenn 21:13, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- agreed, but maybe jabba showed his wealth in other ways, the real question then is which was better (finance etc) Black Sun, Or Jabba's numerous companies Jedi Dude 22:00, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

- He obviously is Real Wealthy. But he does hae his Finantial problems (Like the situation with Solo) which keeps him up-to-date on the loss of his money. He may not be the "Richest". But he should be known as the most "Powerfull", which exceeds Xizor and the jedi powers of Luke, Dooku, Yoda, Windu, and Vader in where he can torture, Dissinagrate, Shoot, or eat any being who dis-pleases him, While the Jedi deffend them selfs and don't harm out of anger, or the dark side will do something less horrible (Like Choke or behead those who displease them). He also has full controll of the gallixie's Outer Rim Crime disputes and actions, and Puts more fear in his minions alot more than Vader or Palpatine. Think of it that way. Plus I take it you all love my "Jabba's excape" picture. Nobody has taken it down yet, so I hope it isn't too horrid. --Jabbathehuttgartogg, 6, Aug.
- what does excape mean? He was rich, very rich, and powerful, he didn't ever have money problems. He just didn't like having one of his shipments messed up. Its nothing to do with the jedi in anycase. Its a good picture yep! but i don't understand the caption? is it meant to say escape? and if so escaping what? Jedi Dude 17:57, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- No mean to be rude, but mabey you should read Jabba the Hutt: The Dynasty Trap. He excapes when Norba (The person getting eaten in the pic.) holds him in a cell (Learn why in the paragraph about the situation}. If you look closley, You see in his hand is a key.He grabbed the key when he swallowed the girl. That lead to him opening the door and excaping. Sorry for the Confution. I couldn't think of a better caotion. Can you?
- well yes i can instead of excape it should be escape, so maybe Jabba esca[ing from Norba its not in detail enough now. not being rude but its confusion not confution Jedi Dude 18:09, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- The deed is done. Sorry, I didn't notice. and "i" should be capitalized, so we all make mistakes. But I did add the Infinites to the Hutt's Page. thanks.--Jabbathehuttgartogg
- i don't think the i needs to be capital becasue this is an informal convo, however the spelling of the word does need to be still right. Jedi Dude 19:53, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's obvious that Xizor was more powerfull (don't get me wrong I despise him as a character). He dealt with Emperor on a weekly, if not daily basis which is something Jabba could only dream of--Herbsewell 03:17, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
More of Jabba
- I would have loved to see jabba in the newer trilogy more. Jabba could've ran into Anikan at Mos Espa. This could've introdused a young Han Solo and have Jabba in it more. I would have loved to see Jabba and Dooku meet at Geonosis arena and have Jabba watch the fight. Then after he coul've met, the newly orphined Boba Fett. That would've been great. Mabey they should've delt with the Hutts in Episode 1 insted of having Watto agree with the gamble. I would've and I know all of you, Would love to see a fully digital jabba's throne room. With digital Gamorrean Guards. A Digital Rancor! How does that sound? --Jabbathehuttgartogg
- it doesn't matter how it sounds lol. this isn't a discussion im afriad my friend, the talk page needs to be kept for relevent topics thank you. Jedi Dude 20:10, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
"Katarn and Jan Ors were imprisoned in the Star Jewel and fed to kell dragons, but Katarn was able to escape Jabba's clutches." So after being eaten by Kell dragons, Katarn escaped?--Darth Oblivion 23:45, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- From what I understand from this question is that my answer would be No. They were "Fed" to the Kell dragons, it doesn't mean they were eaten by them. From what i've read, they excaped. --Jabbathehuttgartogg
- Han Solo wasn't even BORN yet at the time of Episode 1, he wasn't born until 29 BBY which is I believe 3 years after Episode 1 so that part is out. Watto made a bad choice on making a bet with a jedi and he knew better then to deal with the Hutts of all people so that is out. Jabba had NO connections to Dooku or anybody of the CIS so he wouldn't have been at Geonosis so that is ALSO out. Boba Fett was in hiding during the entire battle of Geonosis while it was in the arena and after he had buried his father, he only had his father's helmet and a book that was left behind. He was later captured by Aurra Sing and given to Dooku and bla bla bla don't wanna keep that up so that part is O-U-T OUT! Sorry about having to ruin your hopes and dreams but gotta stick with the canon.
- News flash: That was just an Idea, an Infinities moment. What if: All said above was true?. Still, it would have been nice to see a digital jabba's palace. Plus this is off topic any way. --Jabbathehuttgartogg

Czy Zaba Mieszka Tu?
In Return of the Jedi, when C-3PO asks the droid-eye as he approaches Jabba's palace, if Jabba is in the palace, he speaks Polish ("Czy zaba mieszka tu?"). This translates to "Does the frog live here?" Replace "zaba" ("frog") with "Jabba," and it's "Does Jabba live here?" I bring it up because it increases my suspicion that the name "Jabba" came from the Polish word for frog. And let's face it, saying Jabba resembles a frog might just be a compliment for him, but it's at least a little accurate. -- Wookiee Jedi 07:47, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Dune
- I think it's worth mentioning Jabba's physical similarity to the God emperor Leto II from Dune, afterall Jabba is wormlike, controls a spice empire, is all but invulnerable to blaster fire and poisoning, extremely long lived and lives on a desert planet. HavetStorm 18:24, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think that he even resembles Leto II because from what I understand of dune, Leto would have been huge compared to Jabba, on a sandworm scale I would say Jabba would equal about maybe a 5 to 10 year old, what might be considered a "little Maker" by the Fremen-Darth Schuyler
I think it should be noted that in ROTJ jabba had a scar at the end of his tail that was never there before, if you look closley you can cleary see the scar.

Sarlacc!!!
- Wouldn't be sweet if Jabba had the Sarlacc in his monster pit? Quinlanfan 00:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
He couldn't unless it was at an early stage of life... And eventually it would have to form a pit for itself to live the rest of it's life in... I doubt Jabba's guards could possibly get one anyways... Besides, Sarlaacs aren't the most common of beasts...
Star Wars Infinities: The Empire Strikes Back
Who is the human female slave in Star Wars Infinities: The Empire Strikes Back? Quinlanfan 22:24, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Jabba strangled to death...
I'm not saying Jabba didn't die, since he didi... I was reading the entry for "Hutt" in the SW databank and it said Hutts can hold their breaths for long periods of time... Leia strangled him in 1 min.... A human can go without breathing for almost 1 1/2... I'm VERY confused...
- Eh, who knows. Maybe Leia threw the chain around him after he exhaled. -- SFH 03:19, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- Or he was almost out of breath at the time... If he just inhaled, then he probably would've gotten Leia off him, and possibly flicked her out the window to the Sarlaac...
- Movie time is not real time. What happens through one minute in the movie doesn't necessarily happen through one minute of real time. Like the Battle of Yavin in ANH; it depicted 15 minutes in movie time, but it took much longer in real time.
- movie time is the same, they just leave out some things. They dont FF, or everyone would talk like Alvin and the Chipmunks. So i would say taht they didnt show the whole BOY, (Battle of Yavin), but left out some of it and only showed the important parts. Like Anakin in the temple, they just showed a few scenes, like him entering or clones killing younglings in the library or landing platform or anakin in the council room (pretending tehy were sunflowers).
- There's a difference between not being able to get air, and having the blood flow to your brain stopped. You can die just by someone squeezing the arteries in your neck, even though your windpipe for you to breathe is wide open. I assume the same for Hutts. -dredwulf60 19:10 6 NOV 2007
- I'm pretty sure either in the Return of the Jedi novelization, or in Tales from Jabba's Palace it states that Leia inadvertently used The Force to strangle Jabba. --Kohr'dan Voss 05:15, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
I know this is supost to be about jabba (and it is kindof is) but ever sines I was a kid (11 years old) it kind of turned me on to see jabba being strangled. now think its because leia's in a bikini whall she does it. Am I wired. sory if this makes you mad:/ it made my freind mad (hes a relly relly big fan of jabba).
Brockeback Star Wars?
In my point of view, Jabba and Bib Fortuna, has been "Boyfreinds", and they have had an engagement since they knew themselves, in the palace of Jabba, nobody knows that these peculiar friends do secretly… User talk:Starkiller1996
- What. The. Hell. First off, if I understood correctly, your saying that Jabba and Bib Fortuna had a romantic relationship thus making it a "Brokeback Mountain" scenario? How is that even possible? Jabba isn't even technically a male. It's pretty hard to do things secretly with Jabba...anything. Geez. Two guys can't even be in the same room anymore without someone creating a slash fanfic about it... If I were you, I would stop trying to be a troll and not post such frivolous and ridiculous comments again. --Redemption20pxTalk 22:27, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Jabba's palace...
I'm not entirely sure Jabba governed his empire exclusively from his palace. I always thought it was more like a holiday retreat, and his real headquarters were on Nar Shadda or somewhere. Can someone help here? Unit 8311 08:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Not exclusively, but it was his primary working address. jSarek 08:08, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
leia
I am writing a story and I was wondering what happens to the slaves at jabba's palace? And also,What happened to leia while she was chained to jabba? Besides the Boba fett thing. Did she ever dance for Jabba? Quinlanfan 23:12, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- I would recommend going to this link for at least supportive evidence as to the broad range of possibilities which Jabba may have done to Leia in her time as his slave... [2] Furthermore, I would recommend visiting (link removed) for, how shall we say, "first-person" narratives as to the kinds of things Jabba did.
- I would recommend you stick to canonical evidence. Most sources seem to indicate that some sort of molestation happened, in forms largely (thankfully) left undetermined. And perhaps your question would be better answered on a forum (not Wookieepedia). Atarumaster88 20px (Audience Chamber) 23:49, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Would anyone happen to know what the other link was or any other links of that sort?
jabba's palace
Jabbas throne room has several small rooms to the side of where han is in carbonite. What are those rooms? and where is the room called the dancers pit? Also in one of the prison cells in the book there is something in there is something that looks like a salacc. Thanks,
Grand Admiral Nick Vos [Holonet]
- I'm not sure what the hell is up with your obessesion with Jabbas dancers "private quarters" and that but it's kinda creepy. If it'll please you, then you must know that there are no "dancer pits". At least none that I can see in IWCT. There are guest rooms just left of Han Solos carbonite place. And then more guest rooms and guards quarters down the hall and to the left of the main entrance. Jabba's suite is above the throne room. --Redemption20pxTalk 23:17, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- I was just wondering about the dancer thing because in Tales from Jabba's Palace it talk about a "Dancer's pit" I guess it is where they pratice. Also where does the stairs behind Jabba's dais lead? To the doungon.
Quinlanfan 16:44, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
The doors next to Han Solo's carbonite trophie are Jabba's private elevater and the door way with the stairs is the private back stage room for the max rebo band.
A scene i have always wondered about is when Leia frees Han from carbonite and it just so happens that Jabba was right there. Was he merely expecting this?
Pets
Salacious Crumb and Bubo are sentient enought to be slaves, if anything, not pets/property. Inigo Montoya 03:21, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sentients can be pets. Ikrit was a pet; Gorax often took Ewoks as pets. Ergo, Salacious Crumb and Bubo can be pets. Cutch 05:14, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm willing to accept this from Jabba's view point, even if they're technically slaves/indentured servants. Inigo Montoya 05:59, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Did Jabba finaly get his wish???
In the Inside the Worlds of the Trilogy, it shows another door that connects to the Rancor pit. And on the other side of it is some kind of dragon creature. Could this possibly be the Kayrt dragon? The world may never know. Quinlanfan 21:58, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia
I was noticing that Jabba's article doesn't mention any of his puppeteers, so I went to check out Wikipedia's article (which was an FA there a while back) and sure enough, they have a lot of good info that we don't. I'm a little too tired and lazy to mess with all the references at the moment, but somebody should really copy some of the BTS info to add to our article. -- Ozzel 06:46, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Anyone speak huttese???
What did oola do that made jabba feed her to the rancor? what was he saying to her? Quinlanfan 02:47, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- From the databank:
-- Ozzel 03:34, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Jabba delighted in watching the young Oola dance to the music of the Max Rebo Band. When Jabba wanted more than dance, however, Oola refused. Angered with his rebellious slave, Jabba opened the trap-door beneath the dance floor, and fed Oola to his deadly rancor creature.
so, he wanted her to dance naked??? Quinlanfan 20:28, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, something like that. -- Ozzel 06:45, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Jabba needs to echuta! Quinlanfan 14:17, 2 March 2007 (UTC) What the hell do they mean by sometimes the dancers provide him with more than just dance?
Oola's age???
In Star Wars Obi wan,32 BBY, she looks the same as she does in 4 ABY. either it is another twilek or she must be in her 40's. She looks like she was in her late teens or 20's in ROTJ. Quinlanfan 17:01, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- According to "Oola's Tale" from Tales from Jabba's Palace and her Databank entry, she was still a young girl when Bib Fortuna kidnapped her on Ryloth and brought her to Tatooine several months prior to ROTJ. So it can't be her in that game. I haven't played it, but it sounds much like the error in Dark Forces II where all the Grans were referred to as "Ree-Yees". - Borsk Fey'lya 17:26, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Gender
Why is Jabba's gender listed as "hermaphrodite" if he is constantly referred to as male? Quouar 15:23, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
so I think he is a male because all his intertaners are girls and there all wereing stuff that shows off there bodys (breast, butts you get the picter) and when leia's is his slave she is always genrly close to jabba and that may be turning him I which means (useshally:/) he would mean he's a male. also I think he's a guy because his voices is so low.
Jabba's Rancor
I remember Jabba's Rancor, and I have a kind of stupid question to ask about it: Who was that fat guy who was crying when the rancor died?
umm that fat guy was the original owner of the monster and he gave it to jabba as a gift for him (i think) and he did like the rancer but that it was weird how that other guy was acting like a sheep :baa baa: now that was weird...-Boba fett 32 23:15, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey isn't his name Jabba the Hutt? Where is proof that his name is Jabba Desilijic Tiure? Oh wait no proof.(Mr Levinson 01:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC))
- Actually, there is. One source is the StarWars.com databank, where it says in his article: Jabba, whose full name is Jabba Desilijic Tiure,". "Jabba the Hutt" isn't an actual name, but a title. Hutts are a species. Drewton 20px (Drewton's Holocron) 01:14, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Two Things
How many people were killed by Jabba's Rancor? Also, who were those two Rutian and the one Lethan slave in the Clone Wars Movie? We really should put the list of slaves and everyone who worked for him on here. We should list those three twileks in the clone wars movie on the twilek page on this site. —Unsigned comment by Tinminer (talk • contribs)
