Maternal line
Are we sure it wasn't maternal line?--Goodmind (talk) 11:06, December 20, 2019 (UTC)
- I seem to recall Kylo Ren mentioning in the movie that Rey was the daughter of the Emperor's son. Reddyredcp (talk) 11:08, December 20, 2019 (UTC)
We should add Triclops Legends tab just for lulz--Goodmind (talk) 14:53, December 20, 2019 (UTC)
- I 100% agree Pihlkachu (talk) 00:19, December 21, 2019 (UTC)
- He is technically a counterpart so I agree. --Potsk (talk) 01:20, December 21, 2019 (UTC)
- I'd say the same, but, was he actually confirmed to be Palpatine's son or those just were his sayings? In the latter case I don't think it'd be correct to have it as a counterpart, although I personally haven't read any Legends sources regarding Triclops, so I could be wrong. --HERRERO BOSS (talk) 04:06, December 22, 2019 (UTC)
- I also agree, he is the counterpart. He was confirmed as Palpatine's son, he just wasn't used often. We also need to create a Legends section to the Palpatine family page include Triclops and Ken. --ThePigMaster117 (talk)
Birth year
Can we say that this guy was born prior to 4 ABY?, as he had to have been born before Darth Sidious's first death.--yukaimaster (talk) 9:55, January 23, 2020 (UTC)
- We actually can, with a proper reference. UberSoldat93 (talk) 16:03, January 23, 2020 (UTC)
Eye color
I see that his eye color is given as "brown," but the actor portraying Rey's father, Billy Howle, has blue eyes. Were his eyes actually made brown in the movie or is it an assumption based on vague recollections? --Lelal Mekha

Clone of Palpatine
Should we add now that he is a failed clone of Palpatine, rather than an actual son? 68.230.52.96 00:07, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
- Referring to this article's history, such info. may only be added to Wookieepedia after their official release. - - -

- Just reiterating what the previous poster is saying, Wookieepedia policy states that new information may only be added to articles once it has been released through official outlets and that leaked information may not be added to articles. From what I can see, no information from the novelization has been officially released, which effectively makes it a leak. The novelization isn't going to be released until March 17, so it's a pretty good bet that we're just going to keep reverting this information until that time. Therefore, I've taken the step of fully-protecting this article until March 17. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 00:49, March 7, 2020 (UTC)
article name
Palpatine being more historically significant to the galaxy than Rey (at least in the history revealed to date), shouldn't this article be named Palpatine's son rather than Rey's father? Asithol (talk) 08:06, March 25, 2020 (UTC)
- Obviously rendered irrelevant by him now having a proper name. Asithol (talk) 01:33, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
Birth Year
It said in the novel that they spent years after Darth Sidious transferred his spirit into his cloned body creating abominations and failed clones, but this guy thrived. Meaning he was born in or after 4 ABY? Right? or at least sometime between 4 and 15 ABY because he fathered Rey?--yukaimaster (talk) 10:34, May 7th, 2020 (UTC)
- If he was created after 4 ABY then yes, but it needs a proper reference note. --Lewisr (talk) 03:58, May 8, 2020 (UTC)
- Uh yeah what is going on here? He was born “during or after” 4 ABY... Rey was born in 15 ABY. So he fathered a child at 11? Either his aging was accelerated like the Grand Army or something is very wrong/unexplained here. 92.22.0.135 10:38, September 11, 2020 (UTC)
Bad Note
Sorry about that everyone bad note on his birth year. Made an error.--yukaimaster (talk) 11:46, May 8th, 2020 (UTC)
Messed up family
Genetically, Rey is Ben's 2nd great Aunt. Its all gone a bit GOT ;) Explanation: Rey's father is genetically the same as Ben's great grandad, if we assume that Sheev used his own DNA to create Anakin in Schmi (there would have to be new human DNA otherwise Anakin would be a girl clone of Schmi) —Unsigned comment by 82.71.8.175 (talk • contribs)
- A valid point if you can source Sheev using his own DNA to impregnate Shmi. We don't work off of assumptions on Wookieepedia, though. Asithol (talk) 01:33, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
Era set to Legends on mobile version
Hey everyone! First of all, so sorry if this shouldn't be posted here, I wasn't sure where else could I do it.
Turns out that this article in its mobile/responsive version shows the Legends Label below the character's image. I've been investigating and I've been completely unable to discover why. I've just edited a few pages some years ago, so I'm not proficient at all with the wiki editing system.
I've tracked down that the problem is at the Eras-mobile template, but I cannot know why it is processing this article as Legends instead of Canon. I've tried to set the type on the Eras template to "canon", but it didn't work, so I undid the change.
Do any of you know why is this happening? I couldn't find out why on my own.
Again, sorry if this isn't the right place to post this and thanks for the help! —Unsigned comment by Gascon95 (talk • contribs)
- Unfortunately, it's an issue with how Fandom's mobile site interprets our template, and it affects a lot of articles. It's an error on their end, not ours, but we have filed a ticket and are waiting for a fix. But for future reference, this is definitely an ok place to ask about issues with the article itself! - Oh, wow, it is indeed!! Did they fix the issue finally? I was guessing it was some kind of bug, but good to know to confirm that it's a bug indeed. What I didn't know was what was triggering the error, because there exists other articles that are just Canon, with no Legends counterpart, and it's shown correctly on mobile. Anyhow, thanks for the help and the tips!! -- Gascon95 11:32, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Hair color
This article lists the character's hair colour as red and cites the TROS junior novelization. While I get that can potentially make sense being a (modified) clone of Sheev Palpatine, who had red hair, the actor portraying the character very clearly has a somewhat medium-dark shade of brown hair. In the case of a contradiction in canonical sources, should something so easily observable in the film itself not take priority? 172.56.34.161 22:44, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Assuming the TROS novel actually calls his hair red (I don't have the book, so I can't confirm) then we'd be taking what a source has explicitly said over what we see in the movie. It is a contradiction that could be noted in the BTS, but it's generally best to take the information we are told directly. VergenceScatter (talk) 23:42, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
- The novel states (page 114), "He had the scruff of a red beard. Sad blue eyes." The excerpt of Shadow of the Sith says that Dathan has "short dark hair." JRT2010 (talk) 12:05, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
