Ismaren

On a completely unrelated topic, wasn't Cronal killed in the fight that led to Irek's brain damage? Or was that yet another Dark Jedi?Erl 01:18, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

If Cronal was the Dark Jedi that fought Irek, then he is dead. The Irek Ismaren article says so, and I remember reading in the book that the Dark Jedi was killed. - Bub

Cronal and Nyax

It was indeed Cronal who helped modify Irek Ismaren, according to Droids, Technology and the Force: A Clash of Phenomena: "The lethal potential of the subelectronic converter was seen in the last decades, with the Ismarens' nearly successful resurrection of the Eye of Palpatine weapons platform and ultimately, with the suspected help of Lord Cronal, the conversion of Irek into a mechanical monster himself." jSarek 00:51, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Cronal isn't dead. He keeps coming back.... I have a theory on that, but it's fanon at this point. anyways, Jedi Academy Training Manual page 121 states plainly that "Later, they book passage from Belsavis to Coruscant, where Roganda hires Lord Cronal, a former Prophet of the Darkside, to continue Irek's training. However, Irek loses his temper during a lesson, triggering a lightsaber duel with Cronal that almosts costs Irek his life". Cronal seems to die on Mindor(?), Byss(?), Coruscant(?).... this is really giving credence to my (fanon) theory of him being one and the same with Set Harth. Until then.... edits need to be made by someone more skilled than I.--Icepirate 22:30, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Had to search a bit. It's from Part 6 of The Dark Forces Saga: "It was from the prophet Lord Cronal, father to the sorceress Sariss and the man later known as the shadowy Dark Side magus Blackhole [...]" --Craven 01:18, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Lord Shadowspawn Redirect needed

Major Spoilers Ahead

Because of secrets revealed in "Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor" it turns out that Lord Shadowspawn IS NOT Blackhole, but actually a mind-controlled Nick Rostu. So someone who knows what they're doing should make it so "Lord Shadowspawn" redirects to "Nick Rostu". Thanks in advance.--Anderson 03:22, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

  • My understanding is that it's Rostu's body, but Cronal's mind. Thus, "Shadowspawn" is Cronal, but "Shadow's Pawn" is Rostu. Thefourdotelipsis 03:32, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Shadows of Mindor image

Death

All right, he dies in Mindor, no? The only reason I ask is because the article seems to indicate that he did stuff after 5 ABY, which obviously contradicts the novel. Chack Jadson(Talk) 00:18, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

      • The lovely wonderful error-free (cough) Jedi Academy Training Manual just reaffirmed he was responsible in part for turning Irek Ismaren into Lord Nyax, so yes, he's apparently still alive (though I maintain hope there's more than meets the eye in this regard). jSarek 01:30, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
        • He doesn't die In Mindor. Mr. Matthew Stover deliberately wrote this novel as Geptun's HoloNet script of Luke's adventures. Geptun chose to incorrectly kill off Cronal in the script to cast Luke as a hero. --68.117.44.241 17:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Darth Praxus- Stover Lover

  • The Wookieepedia articles on both the Battle of Mindor and Cronal say he died, but that is then contradicted soon after in both places. Very confusing. We need a better, more concise way of saying whatever happened. DarTah Ravin

somethings wrong

something seems to be wrong with the article. there are 5 interwikis to jedipedia, one leads to the jedipedia article of cronal the other four are leading to the jedipedia article of pearls in the sand, which also has more than one interwiki link. not sure where the problem is cause i cant find anything when i edit the article. im using the newest version of firefox and the MonoBook site layout, not sure if its a MonoBook problem only. U saw this problem on many other articles but i cannot remember the names. greetings Boba F 02:06, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
