Tahini was an astronomical object[2] in the Tahini system of the Inner Rim Territories.[1] It was the fictional birth place of Varian Skye, an alias used by Cassian Andor[2] in 3 BBY[3] According to the cover story Skye and their brother Patrio moved to Coruscant when Skye was twelve years old but Patrio soon returned home to Tahini.

Behind the scenes

Tahini was first mentioned in "I Have Friends Everywhere," the fifth episode of the second season of the television series Star Wars: Andor released on Disney+[2] on April 29, 2025.[4]
