TU-B4 laser turret

A TU-B4 laser turret was a model of laser turret that could be equipped to starships.^[1] By 3 ABY,^[2] the Jawa Teeka had salvage a TU-B4 laser turret and stored it inside their sandcrawler on Tatooine, a desert planet in the Outer Rim Territories.^[1]

During 3 ABY^[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess approached Teeka about installing the turret on the Trailblazer, her EML-850 light freighter, while Teeka's sandcrawler was in the South Jundland Wastes region of Tatooine. A dismantled protocol droid, designated 22-X, translated Teeka's Jawaese to Vess and informed her that in exchange for installing the turret the Jawas wanted a tooth from the second mouth of a sarlacc. While Vess was retreiving the tooth the Teeka's Jawas began installation of the turret on the Trailblazer. After Vess dealt with a group of bandits who were also looking for the tooth she returned and paid Teeka with the tooth who added it to a large collection of teeth.^[1]
