TA-1313 was a T-series tactical droid who served the Confederacy of Independent Systems under Count Dooku during the Clone Wars.
Biography
During the early stages of the Battle of Ryloth, TA-1313 intercepted a coded Republic communication, the unscrambling of which revealed that the Jedi had enlisted Senator Bail Prestor Organa to travel to Toydaria. Organa was to negotiate with King Katuunko to allow the use of the planet for transfer of supplies to the subjugated people of Ryloth.
He proceeded to inform Count Dooku, who in turn had the tactical droid contact senator Lott Dod of the Trade Federation to solve the matter on behalf of the Confederacy.
Behind the scenes
TA-1313 was originally believed to be TX-20 in Supply Lines, as the name was listed in the end credits. However, in late 2012, the online game, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures released an expansion of their card game, "Card Assault," which contained a card with an image of this droid, named TA-1313. Indeed the two tactical droids do look as if they were intended to be separate characters. In fact, TA-1313 bears a stronger resemblance to the T-series tactical droid on Kiros seen in Kidnapped than to TX-20, though it hasn't been confirmed if they are one and the same.
