T-1N8, nicknamed Tina, was a SE-2 worker droid with feminine programming who resided on the planet Koboh. Tina was once the protocol droid to a family who toiled in the caverns beneath Prospector's Folly. After their untimely demise, Tina was abandoned and trapped beneath their now-devastated home, until Jedi Knight Cal Kestis stumbled upon her, and in so doing delivered her freedom at long last. To thank the Jedi for his efforts, Tina allowed him to peruse the family belongings and take whatever he needed. Following her liberation, Tina made the decision to leave Koboh for Onderon to connect with the relatives of her deceased owners. Her intention was to study how to perform surgery, medicinal treatment, and healing as she could not help her owners when they were wounded and wanted to be able to help others in the same situation.[1]
Behind the scenes
T-1N8 first appeared in the 2023 video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor,[1] developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games.[2] She was voiced by Shelby Young,[3] who remained uncredited for the role.[1]
