The Symbia system was located in the Koros sector of the Deep Core[2] and the Interior.[1] It was situated in grid square K-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Symbia system was introduced as "Symbla" in the current Star Wars canon in "The Deep Core,"[3] an article written by Mark Newbold[4] and included in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the thirty-sixth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine[3] that was published around September 9, 2015.[5] The Symbia system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry,[6] and Fry later introduced the correct spelling of the system name[7] in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," a canon appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[2] on June 24, 2025.[8]
