The Svor Clan was a giant clan that lived on Bartokan V, the home planet of the sentient Bonbrak species. The clan worshipped the Bonbrak, who they knew as the barat-karabak—which translated to "fierce teeth"—as gods. At one point, they requested that the Galactic Republic classify the barat-karabak as a protected species, which was granted.[1] In 230 BBY,[2] the Shani singer Crufeela informed Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram of the Svor Clan and their request for the special protection classification assigned to the Bonbrak when he brought the Shani a Bonbrak for her to eat as part of a plan to have Crufeela removed from taking part in the annual Finance Ball on the Core Worlds planet Corellia.[1]

The Svor Clan was mentioned in the 2022 young-adult novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon, written by Daniel José Older and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
