The Sumitra system was located in the Sumitra sector[2] of the Expansion Region.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Sumitra system was mentioned in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a 1990 roleplaying game source article written by Glen Allison as a supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in Voyages SF 13, which attributed the system to The Star Wars Sourcebook.[2] However, the Sourcebook only mentioned the Sumitra sector.[3]
