Succate was a chronicler from Carrivar who, around 80 BBY, assembled a large collection of information about the Sorcerers of Rhand. When she ventured into the receiving chamber in the central ruin of Rhand, she was harassed and intimidated by Rhandite Sorcerers in various states of decay and disassembly. She could not determine whether these Sorcerers were mutilated mortal beings, supernatural entities in strange forms, or illusions cast by the Sorcerers. Succate was more terrified by the hooded Sorcerers that hovered along the periphery of the chamber.[1]
