"Stranded" is an adventure for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Chuck Truett with illustrations by Scott Neely. It was published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 1 in February 1994 by West End Games.
Plot summary
Alliance operatives are tasked with escorting Dr. Elth Nardah and his assistant Karvinna Raen as they attempt to negotiate a treaty with the Karrans, the natives of the planet Karra. However, things take a turn when a damaged Imperial shuttle crashes near the Karran village. They discover Darryn Edalm, the former governor of Karra, who was arrested for treason. Seeking asylum, he surrenders to the Rebel forces, which enrages the Karrans who turn on the Rebels, prompting a fierce battle.
After defeating the Karran led by Tist, the Rebels return to their ship, only to find it destroyed by billions of tiny insects. Stranded, they decide to journey to the nearby Imperial base to try and find another way off the planet. Upon arriving, they find the base under siege by the Karrans and huge domesticated insect, including Karran beetles and 15-meter tall mantises. Amid the chaos, the Rebels slip into a warehouse and steal a ship, which they use to escape and deliver their prisoner to the Seven Flames rebel base.
