A stomach was an organ in many species in which its primary purpose was to digest food. Some species, like the Sarlacc, had multiple stomachs for slower digestion. The Gran, though, possessed two stomachs[2].

Behind the scenes

The term stomach is frequently misused when referring to the abdomen, especially when individuals are stabbed in this area. More often than not, the stomach is never actually punctured.
