Sintaril were a species of rodent native to the moon Yavin 4. They hunted in packs in the giant Massassi trees found on their homeworld and there overwhelmed roosting whisper birds.[1]

Stintaril were originally created by Jonatha Ariadne Caspian for Galaxy Guide 2: Yavin and Bespin, a supplement released in 1989 by West End Games for their Star Wars Legends roleplaying game, Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The rodents were confirmed to be canon by the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which was released in 2015.
