Sticky buns were a type of bread buns that were consumable by humans. The bread could be made by combining a packet of pale pink powder into a bowl and stirring it together with water until it puffed into form nearly instantly.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] the pilot Affie Hollow made herself a sticky bun using a powder packet and water while in the mess of the Byne Guild transport ship Vessel. As Hollow conversed with Jedi Padawan Reath Silas, she settled into a chair and enjoyed the bread in large bites, chewing thoughtfully.[1]

Sticky buns appeared in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Into the Dark, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
