The Steelious system was located in the Southern Core portion of the Core Worlds[1] and contained the planet Steelious. As customs were not strict on the planet, smuggling goods to and from the world was easy, and the Hervack Spaceport on Steelious was important for Rebel Alliance smuggling in the world's sector.[2] Shortly after the Battle of Yavin,[3] a group of diplomats from Steelious traveled to the nearby planet Yarrv to open trade negotiations with its ruling royal family.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Steelious system was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry and released in 2009, which placed it in grid square K-13.[1]
