The Steel Talon was a Star Destroyer of the Imperial Navy during the Imperial Era. It was commanded by Admiral Conan Antonio Motti,[1] Chief of the Imperial Navy[2] and a member of the Imperial Joint Chiefs, prior to his death[1] in 0 BBY.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Steel Talon was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2015 reference book Ultimate Star Wars.[4] The starship originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, in which the Steel Talon was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer created for Michael Reaves and Steve Perry's 2007 novel, Death Star.[5]
