- "General, we have incoming bombers with fighter escort."
- ―A stealth pilot to Anakin Skywalker
Stealth clone pilots[3] were clone trooper pilots of the Galactic Republic that were trained to pilot stealth vehicles such as the IPV-2C Stealth Corvette. During the Battle of Christophsis, one such clone served as the co-pilot of the stealth ship alongside Jedi General Anakin Skywalker.[1]
Description
Stealth pilots were clone trooper pilots chosen to pilot experimental stealth ships, such as the IPV-2C Stealth Corvette. They succeeded in missions by slipping through enemy lines without being detected. Stealth pilots excelled in armed and unarmed combat, as well as the use of heavy weaponry and military tactics.[4]
History
Stealth pilots were human clones that were created on the planet Kamino.[4] Like most clone troopers,[5] stealth pilots were 1.83 meters or 6 feet tall.[4] As a stealth ship flew towards the planet Christophsis during the Battle of Christophsis, one stealth pilot served as the ship's co-pilot, working alongside Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Admiral Wullf Yularen. The stealth pilot helped Skywalker and Yularen navigate their way through Admiral Trench's fleet, destroying Trench's flagship,[1] and gathering data to be studied later.[4]
