Biography

Elizabeth A. D. Eno, who works for Penguin Random House,[2] has created the book designs for numerous Star Wars novels published by the Del Rey imprint of Random House; she also designs books published by other Penguin Random House divisions and imprints. Most of her Star Wars work is in the current canon, including several film novelizations, but she does not exclusively design for Star Wars. She designed Crucible by Troy Denning,[3] chronologically the final novel in the former Expanded Universe, as well as the first novel set in the current canon, A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller.[4]

For some authors, Eno has designed more than one of their books. She designed James Luceno's Darth Plagueis in the former Expanded Universe,[1] and Luceno's Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel in the current canon.[5] Timothy Zahn's first trilogy in the current canon, Star Wars: Thrawn, features Eno's book designs,[6][7][8] and she began designing Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy with Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising.[9] She created the book designs for Alexander Freed's novelization of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story[10] and Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron series.[11][12]

Scott Biel, senior art director at Penguin Random House,[13] has been the cover designer for many of Eno's book designs. Eno and Biel's collaborations on Paul S. Kemp's Lords of the Sith and the script of Cavan Scott's Dooku: Jedi Lost both featured cover illustrations by Aaron McBride.[14][15]
