Sran was a rocky planet[4] situated within the Ash Worlds. It was prone to storms that kicked up dust. The Nihil Strike Andrik Keller visited Sran after he escaped the Battle of Galov, in which the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order captured numerous Nihil marauders, including Tempest Runner Lourna Dee. In a cantina on Sran, Keller encountered a Dowutin; unbeknownst to Keller, the Dowutin was former Tempest Runner Pan Eyta, who sought revenge on Dee. After learning of Dee's status, Eyta killed Keller and departed Sran.[2]

Sran first appeared in the 2021 canon audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott.[2]
