"Ibess is on one again. Someone better come up with some good stories to tide him over. I don't want another mug of squelt tossed at my head in the tavern!"
―A data message about a mug of squelt[1]

Squelt was a type of beverage that could be drank from mugs.[1] By around 3 ABY,[2] the Rokana Raiders pirate group stocked squelt at their base's tavern while they were based at the Khepi Tomb in the Sayma Nebula.[1] Around the same year,[2] Ibess the Qua, a Mirialan member of the pirate group, had thrown a mug of squelt at another pirate member. That member later wrote a message warning other members of the group to come up with some good stories to share with Ibess. They concluded the message by stating they did not want to be hit with another mug of squelt. A copy of that message was stored on a datapad[1] at the Rokana Raiders' base around the same time.[2]

Around 3 ABY,[2] the thief Kay Vess found the datapad and read the message about Ibess while she was at the tomb.[1]

Behind the scenes

Squelt was mentioned in a datapad entry in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3]
