Squadron Leader was a positional title within the Imperial Navy's Flight Branch during the time of the Galactic Empire. The title was appended to the ranks of TIE pilots in the Starfighter Corps who were in command of TIE squadrons.
Stevan Makintay served as the Squadron Leader for Eyrie Base's Green Squadron.[1]
The title was also used by the New Republic New Republic Defense Fleet.[2]
