A spy ship was a type of ship used for spying.

During the expedition to Zonama Sekot in 29 BBY, at least one such vessel was part of the Admiral Korvin's complement of small craft. Raith Sienar sent down the Blood Carver Ke Daiv and an accompanying pilot in the two-passenger ship with banked engine flares to survey the planet.[1]

During the Galactic Civil War many spy ships were employed by the Rebel Alliance to gather intelligence on Imperial activity.[2]
