Spun-moss was a moss-based material used in clothing during the High Republic Era.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] the Clarodian mining supervisor Tianris Mez wore a simple, green spun-moss cloak[1] while dining at[3] the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop in Point Ueda, the capital of the planet Ueda.[1]

Spun-moss appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] It was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
