Spiced cloud-cricket fritters was a dish edible to humans found in the Jedi temple on the planet Batuu.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani chose to take some spiced cloud-cricket fritters with her as she headed into Black Spire Outpost, opting not to consume a full meal as she knew she would be able to partake in street food from the outpost.[1]

Spiced cloud-cricket fritters were mentioned in Quest for Planet X, a junior novel written by Tessa Gratton and published in 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia campaign's[1] Phase II.[3] Prior to the book's release, the mention of the fritters was included in an online preview therefor.[4]
