Sourbread was a type of bread.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] following a battle against the Nihil marauders on the planet Naboo, members of the Jedi Order, Republic Defense Coalition, and San Tekka clan ate a meal at the San Tekka manor. After Jedi Master Porter Engle brought out an egg-and-vegetable soup from one of the manor's kitchens, three San Tekka retainers followed him with day-old sourbread, bowls, and utensils, which they laid out on a table and chairs.[1]

Sourbread appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
