- "Well, it's all your women I'm worried about."
"Oh, come on. Please."
"Femmi, Karla, Sondreen."
"Stop. Stop!"
"There are some names I don't even know!" - ―Maarva and Cassian Andor
Sondreen was a female individual whom the human male Cassian Andor's adoptive mother, Maarva Andor, considered to be one of "Cassian's women."[1] In 5 BBY,[2] when Cassian and Maarva had a discussion in their home on the planet Ferrix about who knew that Cassian's real homeworld was Kenari, Maarva worried that he might have told some of his women, including Sondreen, Femmi, Karla, and others whose names she did not know.[1]
Behind the scenes
- "When you get into it, she can say "well it can be any one of your women" so she starts listing all these women, so you realize oh my god he's sleeping around all the time, he's got all these women, she disapproves of it and he's just, there's another nail in the, in the Cassian failure story here."
- ―Tony Gilroy
Sondreen was mentioned in "That Would Be Me," the second episode of the first season of the Disney+ television series Star Wars: Andor,[1] which aired on September 21, 2022.[4] When talking about "Cassian's women," writer Tony Gilroy suggested that the list of names shows the audience that Andor has been sleeping around and that his mother disapproves of it, adding to the idea that Cassian is a failure at the start of the series.[3]
