Solid fuel-concentrate slugs were a type of fuel slug used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems in Vulture droids.[1]
Characteristics
Unconventional and expensive to manufacture, solid fuel concentrate slugs burned furiously when ignited, and could be vectored electromagnetically for steering. This allowed for immense speed and maneuverability, while maintaining minimal engine mass; a solid fuel system limited flight time, which necessitated droids being periodically cycled between refueling and deployment.[1]
