The Sodden Grotto was a cave on the planet Koboh. At one point, the cave system was used as a mine to find priorite due to its abundance of the valuable mineral. Within the Sodden Grotto lived a rancor and as such, many priorite prospectors went missing in the mine, falling victim to the creature.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Sodden Grotto was an optional, playable location in Respawn Entertainment's 2023 video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. After talking to a certain prospector, the player would learn of a rumor of missing prospectors in a mine below Rambler's Reach Outpost. After passing through the mine, the player would encounter a rancor boss fight. Upon defeating the boss, the player gained access to a Force Essence powerup, unlocking the perk Shatter, which increased block meter damage when equipped.[1]
