Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Socorro in the Outer Rim Territories[1] was home to asteroid belts that were rich in doonium ore. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, Imperial Navy officer Filia Rossi was stationed at Socorro and captained an ore freighter escort that supplied the construction of the Death Star battle station with doonium from these asteroid belts.[3]
