Slygel Hive was an area of debris around the wreckage of a space station in orbit around Toshara, a moon in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] it had become home to a hive of Slygel, soft-bodied invertebrates that lived in space feeding off energy cells. At some point the Galactic Empire installed a communication satellite in the field around the hive.[1]
