The Sliiskiis was a sentient, insectoid species found in the galaxy. They had retractable pincers.[1]
During a mission on the planet Tatooine to recover an agent and escort him off-world, a group of Rebels made their way to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. While in the cantina, the group was threatened by a member of the Sliiskiis species, but the situation did not escalate to anything more than just the threat.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Sliiskiis appeared in the roleplaying adventure "La légende des cristaux" written by Christophe Debien and Patrick Bousquet for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The adventure was published in the seventy-sixth issue of the French Casus Belli magazine, released through July and August of 1993.[1] As the adventure was released outside of the Lucas Licensing process, it is considered non-canonical with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[2]
