Casus Belli (from Latin casus belli 'occasion for war')[3] is a French roleplaying magazine published since 1980. The magazine, initially published by Excelsior Publications, has articles written by numerous authors who also produced work released by Jeux Descartes, with the earliest archived website for Jeux Descartes attached to Excelsior Publications.[4] The canon battleship Casus Belli shares its name with the magazine.[5]
