- "Ugh, these are rubbish. Sky Command? This game is like, a century old."
- ―Petri
Sky Command was a holo game released[2] before 230 BBY. By that year,[1] Quarren Kara Xoo's Tempest of the Nihil pirates had acquired a copy of Sky Command as part of a collection of old, broken holo games kept onboard Xoo's flagship, the Poisoned Barb. As part of recruitment efforts, Xoo's Tempest kidnapped the children Petri, Liam, Krylind, and Avon Starros during various attacks. After Starros made an unsuccessful attempt to call for help, the Nihil Deva Lompop gave the box of games to the children in an attempt to keep them busy. Petri pulled out the copy of Sky Command while inspecting the contents of the box, disgustedly commenting that the game was around "a century old." Starros subsequently began dismantling the games in order to construct a lockpicking device in the hopes of effecting the captives' escape or rescue, exactly as Lompop had anticipated.[2]
