The Jedi Master Indara earned her first Skoydon marking at age twenty-eight.

Skoydon markings were small, black circular markings that practitioners of the Skoydon school of martial arts could earn. They were marked upon the wearer's temple above the left eye. The Jedi Master Indara earned her first Skoydon marking at age twenty-eight[1] around 158 BBY[2] after studying Skoydon intensively while traveling as a Jedi Wayseeker. She then earned a second marking while on a second stint as a Wayseeker between the ages of forty and forty-three[1] between around 146 BBY and 143 BBY.[2] She wore both marks until her death at age 54[1] in 132 BBY.[2]

Behind the scenes

Skoydon markings first appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] They were first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
