Sigma Station was a terrestrial astronomical object[3] in an eponymous star system in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories regions.[2] Situated in the Demetras sector at the coordinates P-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it was where an incident occurred involving the rebel trooper Pol Andrissus, a member of the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry, while he was on temporary leave[3] sometime by 3 ABY.[4] Following the death of Andrissus[3] in 3 ABY,[4] members of his battle group told stories about him after his funeral, including the incident on Sigma Station.[3]
Behind the scenes
Sigma Station was mentioned in the 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, written by Alexander Freed.[3] The corresponding Sigma Station system was listed in the appendix "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1]—both works having been authored by Jason Fry and published on June 24, 2025.[5] In the appendix, however the Sigma Station system and Tokuut system are the only systems situated in the Demetras sector to be listed as being in the Mid Rim; all other star systems are listed as in the Outer Rim,[1] matching the sector's placement as a whole in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[6] An update of "Star Systems of the Galaxy," released on October 13 2025, corrected Sigma Station's placement[7] to be in the Outer Rim.[1]
