- "One of my ancestors, on my mother's side, was part of a Pathfinder team. There's some old family legend about her being killed in a pirate raid, somewhere in the Outer Rim. I never paid much attention, to be honest. It all happened centuries ago, at some place called Shara'Tam, and involved a Jedi called Sturm something-or-other, but that's about as much as I know."
- ―Servit
An individual was a member of the Jedi Sturm Umbrik's Republic Pathfinder team. According to later family legend about her, she was killed during a pirate raid at the moon Shara'Tam in the Outer Rim Territories. Centuries later,[1] in 22 BBY,[2] a descendant of hers, the Mirialan male Servit, told her tale to the Besalisk restauranteur Dexter Jettster.[1]
Behind the scenes
Servit's ancestor was mentioned in "Galactic Tales: Inheritance," an installment of the Galactic Tales series of short stories. The story was written by George Mann and was published in the Star Wars Insider magazine's 211th issue[1] on June 7, 2022.[3]
