A sequencer was a type of technology used in security beacons. It permit the security beacons to target efficiently specific security systems.[2] Components of a sequencer included fractal transmitters, XJ5 circuit boards and octave regulators.[1] Following the Battle of Yavin, a spacer used a sequencer into a security beacon in order to override the security protocol of a droideka studied at Stonewall Labs on Naboo and retrieve an experimental Old Republic droid module.[2]
