A sentry tower, also known as a watchtower, was a pod elevated by a repulsorlift platform or mounted on a physical stalk[5] on which a sentry was stationed to keep vigil for any approaching dangers. The Confederacy of Independent Systems used several watchtowers in the planet Onderon's capital city of Iziz during the Clone Wars,[1] and the Alliance to Restore the Republic constructed several such towers for use by Rebel sentries at the Massassi Site on Yavin 4.[2] Decades later, the Resistance placed a watchtower on their base in the Ancient ruins near Black Spire Outpost on Batuu.[6]
