The Sentinel was an Acclamator-class assault ship that was part of the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Sentinel was destroyed and crashed near Foundry Four on the surface of Xorrn while participating in one of the battles there.[1]

Years later during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic, the invasion force of Imperial Lieutenant Colonel Erle Hovlinn created a staging area near the Sentinel in order to attack an anti-Imperial allied force during the Battle of Xorrn.[1]
