The Selaggis system was a star system located in the Quelii sector,[1] a part of the New Territories portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It lay on the hyperlane known as the Braxant Run, which connected it to the Bandomeer and Vahaba systems.[2]

The Selaggis system contained the yellow star Selaggis, which was orbited by seven worlds, including the gas giant Selaggis VI. The planet Selaggis VI was orbited by several moons, including Selcaron, and was also circled by a heavy debris ring thought to have been another moon at one time.[3]
