- "That looks like a Seeker's Crown! This could be the one that leads me to the Tomb of the Spark Eternal!"
- ―Kho Phon Farrus
A Seeker's Crown was a crown and artifact of the Ascendant,[1] a cult that sought to replicate the effects of the Force with technology.[2] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] the archaeologist[2] Kho Phon Farrus began using a black market network to acquire Ascendant artifacts and then kill their owners with the ultimate goal of finding the Tomb of the Spark Eternal where they would find the Spark Eternal,[1] the Ascendant's most treasured artifact.[2]
In an attempt to stop Farrus, fellow archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra and smuggler Sana Starros had Beol De'Rruyet—a member of the network—put up a listing of an Ascendant artifact. Farrus was informed of the listing by their droid and noted their belief it was a Seeker's Crown and that it could be what led them to the tomb. After Farrus arrived on[1] the planet[4] Midarr to acquire the crown, Aphra and Starros ambushed Farrus and revealed that the listing was a fake.[1]
