A droid was owned by the archaeologist Kho Phon Farrus, who sought to find artifacts of the Ascendant cult. The droid was kept by Farrus on[1] the planet[2] Brentaal IV.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] after Farrus encountered fellow archaeologist Chelli Lona Aphra and the smuggler Sana Starros on[1] the planet[4] Coruscant, they returned to Brentaal IV where they looked for their next target of a black market network to kill. As Farrus carried out their search, they were informed by the droid that the Archivist had sent a transmission, and the droid projected a hologram of the Archivist when Farrus accepted the message.[1]
Sometime later, the droid informed Farrus of a new listing of an Ascendant diadem by Beol De'Rruyet, though in reality the listing had been a fake by Aphra to lure in Farrus and stop them from killing the members of the black market network.[5]
