The Vesper travels through the sector

Sector G-38 was a region of space within the galaxy.[1] In 9 ABY,[2] a New Republic Defender-class cruiser, the Vesper, was traveling through Sector G-38 when it was waylaid by the former Jedi Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati. The two claimed to be Jedi, a claim that the Vesper's Captain Hayle found ridiculous. Hayle invited the two aboard the ship, believing them to be frauds who could be detained after boarding. Although the two were not Jedi, they were Force-sensitive and were able to dispatch Hayle, the squad that accompanied him to perform the arrest, and the rest of the ship's crew before rescuing the captive Morgan Elsbeth from the ship.[1]
