A science officer was a title held by scientific officers in some armed forces.

In the Imperial Military, they were generally part of the command team assigned to IM-455 modular garrisons during the Galactic Civil War.

Gann Sakoal and Garboza served as science officers in the Sith Empire during the Cold War.[1]

Lieutenant Dunnels was a science officer in the Royal Naboo Security Forces.[2]
