Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, an orbital shipyard in orbit above the planet Scarif was used as a construction facility for the development of the Empire's planet-killing superweapon, the Death Star. The shipyard utilized the raw materials removed from Scarif's surface to complete the Death Star's hull and other key items.[1]
