Sapphire Lake was an artificial body of water formed in Hollowtown, on Centerpoint Station, as a kind of nature preserve. Within the lake was a forested island that contained Eben Kinahay's heavily defended estate.[3] In 18 ABY, the station's tractor beam fired, causing the Glowpoint within Hollowtown to flare up to several thousand degrees. As a result, the water in Saphhire Lake evaporated.[1] At some point after, multiple parties would return to the island within the now former lake to look for a Sith holocron in what was left of Kinahay's estate.[3] In 40 ABY, the remains of Sapphire Lake were destroyed completely, when the station's tractor beam targeted itself.[2]
