A salamander was a type of amphibian common throughout the galaxy.
Biology and appearance
Types of salamanders included the Jandoonian salamanders native to Jandoon, mucous salamanders native to Yavin 4, and Piluvian salamander-storms, which moved in massed packs. Salamanders also existed on the planet Belsavis.
